MATIS
MATIS, standing for Monitoring Art with Technology Innovation and Science, is a Neuchâtel-based startup focusing on developing high-tech multispectral imaging systems and end-to-end encrypted software using image processing and machine learning for artworks analysis. Our proprietary algorithm reveals erased signatures and pigment identification, as well as enhanced infrared imaging uncovering underdrawings. With a secure database, MATIS provides a unique, robust, secure and cost-effective solution for art analysis and authentication.
STI funding will be used to foster the production of MATIS cameras and the development of the user interface. With this funding, we will be able to get traction from foundation customers which will guarantee our client acquisition to go to market in 2024.
