4K-MEMS develops broadband near infrared emitters, manufactured based on our patented architecture, which uses novel materials and state-of-the-art microfabrication techniques. The 4K-MEMS emitter will be smaller, brighter, and faster than any current system. The scalable manufacturing method will enable not only deep integration and efficient coupling with state-of-the-art micro-technology, but it will also lower the cost per product.
In short: 4K-MEMS emitters will generate the light needed, when it is needed, and where it is needed, enabling mobile molecular analytics for everyone. Our solution can be fabricated at high volume and low cost and is protected by a growing portfolio of patents fully owned by 4K-MEMS.
The STI loan is used to ensure sufficient funding is available to complete the next technology development stage. After a successful proof of concept was demonstrated, we are now optimizing the devices and demonstrating the potential for mass production. The results will be used to complete the next financing round.
